Release Breathwork via Tessa Kohler Terms & Conditions for  the Breathwork component you will experience at the event

We are honoured to hold space for your healing journey. Please take a moment to read through the following terms and conditions. These are here to support your safety, establish mutual respect, and ensure clarity as we step into this work together. By participating in any Release Breathwork offering—whether a group class, private session, workshop, or retreat—you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following:

  1. Scope of Practice

Release Breathwork is a somatic and energetic healing modality that uses conscious connected breathing, intuitive movement, and nervous system attunement to support transformation and self-healing. While it may contribute to emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being, this work is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

We do not offer medical, psychiatric, or psychological services. Participation in breathwork is at your own discretion and risk.

  1. Personal Responsibility

By attending a class or session, you accept full responsibility for your own physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing during and after the experience. You are encouraged to listen to your body, honour your limits, and take rest as needed. You may pause or stop the session at any time.

  1. Health & Contraindications

You affirm that you have disclosed any known physical or mental health conditions prior to participation. This includes (but is not limited to):

-Cardiovascular disease or high blood pressure

-Epilepsy or seizure disorders

-Bipolar disorder or schizophrenia

-Recent surgeries or injuries

-Pregnancy

-Osteoperosis

-Severe anxiety, PTSD, or other trauma-related conditions (unless supported by a mental health professional)

If you are uncertain whether this practice is safe for you, please consult your physician or therapist before attending. Participation implies that you are medically and psychologically fit to engage in breathwork.

  1. Substance-Free Commitment

We require all participants to arrive fully sober and not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This ensures your safety and maintains the integrity of the space.

  1. Confidentiality & Group Sharing

We honour your privacy and the sanctity of this work. In group settings, all participants are expected to uphold a shared agreement: what is shared in the space stays in the space. In turn, we commit to holding your personal information and experiences with care and confidentiality, unless legally required to disclose.

  1. Booking, Payment & Cancellation

All sessions and classes must be booked in advance and are confirmed once payment is received. We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any class or private session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable and non-transferable.

No-shows will not be refunded or credited.

In the rare event that we need to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you the choice of a reschedule or full refund.

  1. Liability Waiver

Breathwork can sometimes bring about intense physical, emotional, or energetic experiences. By participating, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily assuming any risks involved. You release Release Breathwork and its facilitators, from any liability for injury, emotional distress, or unexpected outcomes that may arise through your participation.

  1. Media & Consent

Occasionally, we may capture photos or videos of our workshops or group classes to share the essence of this work with our wider community. Please let us know in advance should you choose to opt out of any photography or videography.

  1. Code of Conduct

We are committed to creating an inclusive, trauma-aware, and respectful space for all participants. Discrimination, harassment, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove anyone from a session or class if their behaviour compromises the wellbeing of others, with or without refund.

  1. Intellectual Property

All materials shared in our classes, sessions, workshops, and online platforms—including meditations, recordings, and written content—are the intellectual property of Release Breathwork and may not be copied, recorded, or redistributed without our written permission.

  1. Agreement & Updates

By booking or attending any Release Breathwork offering, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. We may update them occasionally to reflect changes in our offerings or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on our website or upon request.

Thank you for walking this path with us. This work is sacred, and we are deeply honoured to support you in remembering your wholeness.
